New Zealand founded secure healthcare messaging startup Celo will join a special meeting in Seattle this Friday as part of New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern’s US tour. We are incredibly grateful and humbled to be invited to the Microsoft Seattle offices and be included in a meeting that will further strengthen the ties between the tech giant and New Zealand technology companies.

Celo joins only a handful of invited tech companies including LawVu, Ubco, Straker Translations, Animation Research and Auror.

Celo Chief Growth Officer, Jack Clough who has recently set up Celo’s US headquarters in Seattle, will attend the meeting which will include Ardern as well as Microsoft president Brad Smith and other Microsoft executives. The meeting agenda is to engage in discussions on technology investments, skills development for New Zealanders in the industry, digital cooperation, and “further initiatives”.

Clough adds “Seattle continues to be a hub for tech companies by providing access to great talent and customers as well as being close to Microsoft. This made Seattle an obvious choice for our US headquarters. We are proud to have Microsoft as a key technology partner for our healthcare platform and look forward to attending this weekend’s events alongside the New Zealand Prime Minister, Microsoft executives, and other high growth New Zealand tech companies.”
